Nicholas Hopkins Obituary
Nicholas "Nick" Dean Hopkins, of Florence, KY passed away in Pikeville, KY on Thursday, March 17, 2016at the age of 36. He was born on October 22, 1979; the son of Jerry & Shirley Hopkins. Nick was currently a medical student enrolled at the University of Pikeville. He enjoyed ice skating, gymnastics, diving and taekwondo. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family and friends. Nick is survived by his parents; sister, Ashley Hopkins; half-brother, Scott Hopkins; grandmother, Retha Hopkins; as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation for Nick will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will immediately follow at Independence Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
