BONFERT
Carl M. Sr., 97, of Edgewood, KY, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. Mr. Bonfert was a member of Erlanger Baptist Church, a member of Masonic Lodge 95, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Edgewood Golden Age, and a Master Sergeant in the Army Signal Corps during World War II. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Gschwind, and Frieda Newhouse and a brother, Walter Bonfert. He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Jean Bonfert of Edgewood, KY, his children: Peggy Kinnetz (Gene) of Lousiville, KY, Carol Rowe of Raleigh, NC, and Mike Bonfert of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Joshua Kinnetz, Adam Kinnetz, Erin Kinnetz, Emily Bonfert, and Ben Bonfert, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
