Charles L. Mahorney, 94, of Erlanger, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Charles was devoted to his family and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lucille V. Mahorney (2-22-2002). Survivors include his son, Gene (JoAnn) Mahorney of Villa Hills; daughters, Carolyn (Donald) Buhr of New Port Richey, FL, and Debi (Doug) Taylor of Mooresville, NC; brother, Paul (Esther) Mahorney of Ludlow; sisters, Louise Cook of St. George, UT and Violet Bass of Florence; 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Visitation is Monday, April 8, 2013 from 9:30 AM to the hour of service at 11:30 AM, all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
