David "Red" Lawson Sr., 81, Villa Hills, passed away on July 21, 2012 at his residence. He was a Machinist for Mock III and Moeschl Edwards. David served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Johnell Lawson of Villa Hills; son, David Lawson Jr. of Independence, KY; daughters, Debbie Trinkler of Independence, KY, Kathy Whitehead of Hot Springs, AR, Robin Lawson of Hot Springs, AR, Patty Claypool of Hot Springs, AR; grandchildren, Tammy Rubel, Daniel L. Lawson, Tracy Bell, David Whitehead, Lance Metcalf, Sarah Lawson, Heather Lawson, Jennifer Johnson and great-grandchildren, Courtney Statham, Brayden Rubel, Sevannah Lawson, Jonah Lawson, Dayne Lawson, Kaitlyn Bell, Kora Whitehead, KniKolai Metcalf, Korbin Metcalf, Kaylee Hoskins. David is preceded in death by is brothers, Jack Lawson, Kenny Lawson, Wayne Ash and sister, Eileen Gibson. Visitation is Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with Service immediately following at 12:00 Noon, all at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
