Hughes
(Earl) Gregory Hughes, age 64, of Newport, KY, passed away on April 20, 2012. Earl was preceded in death by his son, Billy Hughes; brother, Butch (Paul) Hughes of Independence, KY; and his parents, Paul and Adele (Ashford) Hughes of Taylor Mill, KY. Survivors include: his wife, Janet Hughes (Marz); three children: Mary Jackson and husband Tim of Covington, KY; Thomas Harmon and wife Melissa of Cold Spring, KY; and Troy Harmon and wife Danielle of Erlanger, KY. Seven grandchildren: Timothy Jackson II, Kelsey Jackson, Mackenzie Harmon, Thomas Harmon Jr, Savannah Harmon, Troy Harmon and Trent Harmon. One great-grandchild, Achilles Jackson; Three sisters: Candy Larkins and husband Ray of Dayton, OH; Becky Brooks and husband Mike of Erlanger, KY; and Jannell Croft and husband Walter of Dayton, TN; Two brothers, Michael Hughes of Muscatine, IA and John Hughes and wife Ella of Independence, KY; and many nieces and nephews. Greg donated his body to University of Cincinnati for medical study. Services will held at a later date.
