James Douglas "Doug" Allen (a.k.a. Doggy Dog), 49, formerly of Bellevue, passed away on Sunday, October 28th at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He resided in Sarasota, FL with his aunt, Donna Lovins, who had been caring for him for the past year. Doug is survived by his parents, William & Rosetta Allen of Dayton; brother, William "Billy" Allen of Dayton; sister, Vicky Posey of Dayton; daughter, Elizabeth Allen of Bellevue; sons, Jamie & Lester Allen of Bellevue and Harrison Allen of Burlington. He is also survived by four grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 6 p.m., all at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue on Tuesday, November 20th.
