John "Jack" Bernard Kraft, 85, of Cold Spring, passed away on November 27, 2013 at Llandfair Retirement Community Cincinnati, OH. He was a union printer with the Cincinnati Enquirer for many years. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring, member of the St. Joseph Resurrection Choir, St. Patricks Knights of Columbus, drama club at St. Joseph, social barbershop quartet, coached baseball at Woodward high school, he played trumpet in a band, loved golf and bowling. He was preceded in death by father, William Kraft and mother, Alma Kraft. John is survived by his wife, Joann Kraft of Cold Spring, KY, son, Bill (Vicki) Kraft of Cincinnati, OH, daughter, Susan (Jerry) Riegel of Cincinnati, OH, sister, Alma Frank of Edgewood, KY. step children Jackie Haubner, Jan Schwegmann, Joni Schabell, John Pross and James Pross. Jack has 22 grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Visitation 10:00 am to 10:30 am, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Saturday, November 30, 2013, at the St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring, Kentucky. Burial will take place in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
