Judy A. Sarakatsannis (nee Meyer), 67, passed into eternal life on Sunday, February 23, 2014, at her Fort Thomas residence. She was born to the late Lloyd and Janet Meyer, December 29, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Judy graduated from Campbell County High School in 1965 and then attended beauty school. She married her husband, Panny Sarakatsannis, in 1968. They settled and raised their family in Fort Thomas. In addition to working as a homemaker and hairdresser, Judy managed Dixie Chili Covington for over 22 years. In addition to her husband she is survived by their three children; son Col. Greg (Julie) Sarakatsannis, USAF of Chesapeake, VA; daughter Katina (Trevor) Barth of Fort Thomas; son Mark (Stephanie) Sarakatsannis of Independence; brother Ron Meyer of Fort Thomas; sister Marcie (Tim) Winter of Melbourne; grandchildren Demetri, Sophia, & Eva Sarakatsannis, Zoie & Zachary Barth, and Xarek & Analei Sarakatsannis. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, February 28, at the Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45224. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery, Covington, KY. The family will hold a reception from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at The Marquise Event Center, 1016 Town Drive, Wilder, KY, 41076.
