Dear Rose and Family,
We just learned of Bud's passing and want to extend our sincere sympathy to you all. Bud was such a kind, caring man who loved spending time with family and friends. He showed so much strength as he battled his illnesses, yet still wanted to do the things he enjoyed like woodworking, traveling, and being with friends...as long as his Rose was there with him. May he find comfort in God's loving arms and build that wooden bridge for all of us to cross over to see him again. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you all.
Much Love,

What a pleasure to know Bud. He was so good to the Miller Family, we will all miss him so much. All of our kids worked for him at Howards. We were friends of Bud's even before he knew you, Rose. These last couple of years he suffered greatly, but accepted it. When I was so ill with cancer 6 yrs. ago, he called almost everyday to see how I was feeling, we both would end the conversation crying, that's the kind of friend Bud was. The Miller family will miss him greatly. RIP dear friend

Rose, Deb and I are sorry for you and your family's lose. Bud was my first boss and a great one at that. He was a mentor and a friend . He taught me so much about so many things. His passion for the produce business and his love for his customers is unsurpassed. He will be forever in our hearts.

Bud will always have such a special place in the hearts of the Miller family. He was a true friend to Mom and Dad, always offering a lending ear or hand. And to all of us kids for taking a chance on us at very young ages in our start in the working world at Howards. He taught us how to work hard and at times laugh even harder. Who will ever forget all those crazy fruit basket days at Christmas with the phone ringing off the hook and Bud doing his magic throwing them together, one more beautiful than the one before. He may be gone, but has left an indelible mark on this family. Deepest condolences to Rose and family. God Bless!

I worked for Bud at Howard and Son during my high school years. I attribute my work ethic to him ... To this day. He was always there for me and everyone around him, as well as our entire family. I learned so much from this man. Occasionally I would go to the produce houses (the bottoms) with him, where he was greeted by everyone and their brother! He had an amazing personality and love for people, life and his family. I will always treasure the times we shared and grateful for his friendship. Such a special man. Rest in Peace, Bud. I love you.
