Marie Bernadette Fuchs died at Highlandsprings in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky on October 17, 2013. She was 96 years old, born April 6, 1917 in Dayton, KY. where she was a life- long resident. Marie was preceded in death by her father, Carl Fuchs,Sr., and mother, May (Felix) Fuchs also her beloved identical twin sister, Virginia Kallendorf, her brother, Carl Fuchs Jr., Sister-in-law, Trudy Fuchs and brother-in-law Fred Kallendorf. Also preceding her were two nephews, Pete and Kevin Fuchs. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, John "Jack" Fuchs, Louisville, Charles "Donuts" and Mary Jo (Binder) Fuchs, and Rosemary (Petroze) Fuchs, Dayton. She leaves 14 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews and 22 great great nieces and nephews. Marie was well known throughout the region for her cake decorating skills, working at the Federal Bakery, Servatii's, Lings and Sillers in Dayton, Kentucky. She was a life-long member of St. Bernard Church in Dayton. She and Virginia worked many bingos to help raise money for their church. Her favorite time of year was Christmas when she hosted the Annual Fuchs Christmas Eve Party. She was happiest when surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 4:00 pm-6:30 pm at the Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 241 Fairfield Ave., Bellevue, KY. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 7:00 pm at St. Bernard Church, Dayton, KY. Following Mass, the family will receive friends for a reception in the church hall.
