Paul E Kelly I, 88 of Florence, KY passed away November 8, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Florence, KY. He was a member of the Florence Baptist Church at Mt. Zion, a Deacon of the First Baptist Church, Pikeville, KY, a member of the Thomas C. Cecil Masonic Lodge, enjoyed Amateur Radio (WA4YUV), was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, and was a retired Locomotive Engineer and Road Foreman of Engines for CSX Railroad. His Daughter Nancy Kelly May, Brother Billy Lester Kelly, and Mother and Father Emit and Leona Adkins Kelly died previously. Survivors include his Wife of 67 Years Julia Vargo Kelly of Florence, KY, Sons Paul E Kelly II and Ralph D Kelly, Sister Virginia Kelly Johnson, 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 12th at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. 42, Florence, KY 41042. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Additional Visitation and Service will be Thursday, November 14th at J.W. Call & Son Funeral Home, Pikeville, KY. Interment will be Friday, November 15th at the Johnson Memorial Mausoleum, Pikeville, KY. Memorials may be made to the Florence Baptist Church at Mt. Zion, "fbmz.org/".
