Ted Jr., 85, of Taylor Mill, born August 2, 1928 in Covington, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 27, 2014. He was a WWII Army Veteran, a retired School Administrator for Dayton Kentucky Schools, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a Sunday School Teacher; he was also instrumental in the creation of Calvary Christian School. He was a member of Moose Lodge and Lions Club , and the Campbell County Retired Teachers Association. He also was inducted into the NKY Sports Hall of Fame. He was an avid golfer, a life- long coach, and enjoyed singing. A licensed pilot, he loved to fly for many years. He was also a licensed barber and owned several barber shops. He was a very generous person and helped many students and people in need. Ted was a family man and always put his wife and family first in his life. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Ruth Williams; his parents Theodore M. and Elsie Williams, Sr.; and his brothers Ronald and Terry Williams. Survivors include sons Ted Williams III of Covington, Tim Williams of Englewood, Ohio, Dr. Tod Williams of Edgewood, Tom Williams of Taylor Mill, and Troy Williams of Alexandria; his sister Betty Grimme of Walton ; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 5, at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tibbatts Ave. Latonia, KY 41015. Interment Floral Hills Cemetery.
