Thomas H. Cason passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012 at his home, in Fort Dodge, Iowa with his wife Deb Brayton by his side. A service honoring Tom's life was held on Thursday, September 6, at Sacred Heart Church in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Arrangements were been entrusted to the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. He leaves behind his loving wife Deb Brayton; his two daughters, Amy Marie Welsh and her husband Jason, and their three children, Ashley, Thomas and Andrew; Pauletta Muhl and her husband Curt, and their two children Jennifer and Scott; eight great-grandchildren and his brother Bill Cason, along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, grandfather and niece. Tom treasured his family. He was also honored for his duty serving in the Army. Tom was born in Kentucky and moved to Iowa in the 1970s where he worked at Friendship Haven for over 25 years as the grounds supervisor. He was looking forward to retiring and doing what he loved; to travel and fish. Tom was truly loved and will be deeply missed by his family.
