RUMKER

Bernard "Bernie" E. Rumker, 82, of Silver Grove, passed away on June 5, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Fort Thomas, KY. Bernie was a Retired Engineer with the C & O and Chessie Systems Railroad. Bernie was a member of Fr. DeJaco Council Knights of Columbus Alexandria, Lifelong member of St. Philip's Church, a member of the Cincinnati Historical Railroad Club, the Cincinnati, OH Cinder Sniffers Club and a Korean War Army Veteran. Bernie was preceded in death by his mother, Bernadine Rumker, and father, Edward Rumker. Bernie is survived by his wife, Jo Rumker, his son, Kevin (Madeline) Rumker, his daughter, Joia Wolfe, his grandchildren, Joel (Jacqueline) Rumker, and Brandon (Emily) Rumker. Visitation 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday, June 9, 2014 at St. Philip's Church, in Melbourne. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 pm Monday, June 9, 2014, at St. Philip's Church, in Melbourne, Kentucky. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
