Deborah "Debbie" Ann (nee Faehr) Fehler, of Independence, KY passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the young age of 59. She was born in Covington, KY on August 16, 1957; the daughter of Louis and Margie Faehr. Debbie was a dedicated worker at Simon Kenton High School for the past 28 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling the world and boating at Lake Cumberland. In her spare time, Debbie loved collecting antiques and jamming to the music of Toby Keith. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandson Karson, who was the light of her life. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Louis Faehr and brothers, Tim Faehr and Lawrence Faehr. She is survived by her loving daughters, Amber Kayse and Tasha Fehler; son-in-law, Eric Kayse; grandson, Karson Kayse; mother, Margie Faehr; brothers, Rick (Debbie) Faehr and Jim (Pam) Faehr; the entire Simon Kenton community; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was her family's rock and foundation, who would open her home up to all, and will be so deeply missed by everyone she touched. To celebrate Debbie's life, a Gathering of Friends will be held from 5:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
