Donald Richard Gorman Sr., 79, of Aurora, IN, passed away on March 24, 2011 at his home. He was a beloved husband and father. Don was also a decorated Korean War Veteran, earning a Army Commendation Medal, Combat Medical Badge, Purple Heart as well as a Bronze Star Medal. Don was born January 7, 1932 in Detroit, MI to Clyde Monroe and Naomi Ruth Gorman. He owned and operated D-G Custom Chrome and was a founding member of the Automotive Body Parts Association, serving as Chairman along with several terms as president. A member of Shield of Faith Pentecostal Church in Newport, KY, Don is survived by his wife Victoria Ann Cooper Gorman, his Daughters Janet Lynn Gorman of Nashville, TN, his Son Donald Richard (Nikki) Gorman Jr. of Independence, KY and his loving Granddaughter Dahlila Reese Gorman. Visitation will be Tuesday March 29th., 4 to 8 PM at the Cmmunity Family Pentecostal Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 30th., 11 AM at the Community Family Pentecostal Church with Entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Ky.
