Albert J. Barth, 87, lifelong resident of Cold Spring, passed away on April 10, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center - Edgewood. He was a Retired Carman with C & O Railroad after 33 years. He also worked his entire life on his farm. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Church - Cold Spring, KY. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, was an avid card player, and a baseball fan. Albert was born April 17, 1924 in Cold Spring, KY to John Barth and Ida Baudendistil Barth. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Irene Mary (Neltner) Barth (1996) and his Sister, Clara Barth (1982). Albert is survived by his Daughters, Janet (Ken) Reis of Grants Lick, KY and Marilyn Barth of Cold Spring, KY; Sons, Bob (Regina) Barth of Cold Spring, KY and Don Barth of Richwood, KY; also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Visitation 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, April 13, 2012 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring, KY. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery Cold Spring, Kentucky.
