Hershel Roach, Sr., 77, of Erlanger, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. He was a retired Assembler for General Motors. Hershel served our country in the U. S. Air Force. He loved fishing, hunting, playing cards, especially euchre and poker, and watching Westerns. Hershel was the former owner of Dixie's Lamp-Light of Bromley. Survivors include his devoted wife, Dixie Mobley Roach of Erlanger; sons, Hershel Roach, Jr of Villa Hills, Keith (Terri) O'Banion of Milford, OH, Darrin Hallau of Cincinnati; daughters, Jacki Harney of Union, Teri Mills of Villa Hills; brother, Bobby (Theresa) Roach of Florida; sisters, Betty Dunaway of Ft. Wright, Vivian Smith of Florida, Alma Jarman of Crittenden, Elaine Herrman of Ludlow; grandchildren, Alex Hallau, Tracy Dawson, Katie O'Banion; great grandchildren, Madelyn Harney, Cambria Harney and Cayden Harney. Visitation is Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM followed by Memorial Services at 4:00PM, all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
