James "Jim" E. Cook, 77, of Elsmere, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was a retired Service Technician for Sears. Jim served our country in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of St. Henry Church in Erlanger. Jim loved to camp, garden and make model airplanes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert Cook and Katherine Smith Cook; brother, Wilbert Cook; sisters, Betty Mae Neider and Mary Anne Lay. Survivors include his devoted wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Cook; sons, Lloyd Cook of Dry Ridge, Leonard Cook of Walton, Milton "Tom" Cook of Verona, Patrick Cook of Elsmere; daughters, Linda (Phil) Haar of Walton, Deborah Cason of Walton; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation is Monday February 4, 2013 from 9:30AM to 11:30AM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, February 4, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in St. Ann Church, 1274 Parkway Ave., Covington, KY. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY.
