Robert "Bob" Alvin Bertram, 90, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the Robertson County Health Care Facility in Mt. Olivet, KY. Born in Cold Spring, Kentucky on July 25, 1922, he was the son of the late Henry and Mary Bertram. A well-known Pendleton County farmer, and former employee of the Pendleton County Road Department, he faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. On May 7, 1948, he married Dorothy May Mitchell Bertram. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. Bob, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy, as well as their 5 children: Henry (Janice) Bertram of Falmouth, Ron (Marge) Bertram of Maysville, KY, Ed Bertram of Frankfort, KY, Rob (Jodi) Bertram of Falmouth, KY, Sharon (Ed) Delaney, of Philpot, KY; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren. The funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Rev Darrell Breeden and Brother Norbert Bertram officiating. Music will be shared by Darryl Ammerman. The visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday, March 31, 2013. Interment with full military honors by the Hardin- Browning Post #109 will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital: P.O.
