HANSMAN

Raymond Paul Hansman,86 of Highland Heights, passed away on March 4, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Edgewood, KY. Ray was a Master Craftsman and Builder. Member of St. Thomas Church, Fort Thomas. Lifetime member of the VFW Southgate-John R. Little Post #3186, The Ft. Thomas Optimist Club, and WWII Navy Veteran. Born March 16, 1927 in Compton, CA to the late August Paul Hansman and Margaret Leurck Hansman Graue. He was preceded in death by his Step-Father, Henry Graue, Sisters, Freida Fedders, Henrietta Maillard, and Marie Hudson. Ray is survived by his Wife of 63 years, Theresa (nee Wimsatt) Hansman of Highland Heights, Son, Paul (Cheryl) Hansman of Ft. Thomas, Son, Steve Hansman of Bellevue, Son, Kenny (Donna) Hansman of Burlington, Son, Jeff (Mary Ann) Hansman of Cold Spring, Son, Thomas (Sherrie) Hansman of Cold Spring, Daughter, Peggy (Rich) Ziegler of Wilder, Son, Douglas Hansman of Taylor Mill, and Son, Gary (Sherry) Hansman of Cold Spring, Sister, Clara Weiss of Atlanta, also 25 Grandchildren, and 18 Great Grandchildren. Visitation 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Dobbling Funeral Home,106 S. Fort Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Monday, March 10, 2014, at St. Thomas Church, Fort Thomas, with Rev. Roger P. Cooney, officiating. Entombment will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Following the committal service at the cemetery, Celebration of Life will be held at the Wilder Community Center, 520 Licking Pike, Wilder, KY. Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice,483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017 or Saint Thomas Building Fund, 26 East Villa Place, Fort Thomas, KY 41075.
