Reilly Decker Obituary

DECKER

Reilly Halsted, 11, of Owensboro, KY died Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Owensboro to Tony and Melissa Decker and attended Owensboro Public Schools. He played clarinet in school band and was a world traveler from a young age. Reilly loved everything and everyone. He was happy, funny, hopeful, gorgeous, generous, and so impossibly kind. Reilly was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Leta Decker. Survivors include his parents, Tony and Melissa; siblings, Maddy, Alistair, and Lucy; grandparents, Philip and Barbara Decker, of Louisville and Earl and Gail Rider of Hebron, KY; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will be dearly missed by so many. Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday with prayers at 6:30 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Northern Kentucky. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Daniel Pitino Shelter. Dr.and Mrs.Decker so sorry I am late in sending this but I recently had my knee replaced so am off work. I just want you to know you have been in my thoughts and prayers. Over the years I have had the privilege of seeing you with your family at various events. You are such wonderful parents and I am sure Reilly will be greatly missed. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you entire family.
