Kenneth Menning Obituary
Kenneth Anthony Menning, 84, of Newport, KY, passed away on February 24, 2016. Mr. Menning was a machinist with General Electric in Sharonville, OH. He loved to play golf & bowl, having almost bowled a perfect game once. He was a former member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and had played baseball for St. Bernard Parish in Dayton, KY on their Holy Name League team. Kenneth was born January 25, 1932 in Dayton, KY to the late Rudolph and Stella (nee: Geis) Menning. He was also preceded in death by Son, Stephen Paul Menning, Siblings, Rita Lillian Nadicksbernd, Helen Mae Menning, Mary Jane Marz, Donald Joseph Menning, Mary Magdaline Menning, Dolores Margaret Menning & Joan Menning. Kenneth is survived by his Wife, Jacqueline K. (nee: Wiechman) Menning of Newport, KY, Sons, Gregory Menning of Newport, KY, Douglas Menning of Newport, KY, Daughters, Maribeth (Jeff) Secrist of Cold Spring, KY, Lesley (Jeff) Cooney of Cold Spring, KY, Grandchildren, Britney, Ben & Candice Cooney; Jackson, London & Taylor Ann Menning,; Derek & Brooke Secrist, Great Grandchildren, Cameron, Allena & Isabella Menning. Visitation 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am, Monday, February 29, 2016, at the St. Therese Church, Southgate, Kentucky, with Rev. Clarence J. Heitzman officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, 5211 Madison Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45227.
