William P. O'Keefe Jr. 1959-2012 William P. O'Keefe Jr. (POP-POP), age 53, of Bethel, Conn., died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, April 19, 2012. Bill was born Feb. 3, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pa., the son of the late William P. and Carolyn O'Keefe Sr. He was the owner operator of Redding Roaster Coffee Company in Bethel, Conn. and also worked as a graphic designer. Bill was a familiar face in the area, taking an active role in the Bethel community. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed spending time with his friends. Bill's greatest love was his family, especially his granddaughter, Kadence. Bill is survived by his daughter, Kaitlyn Heisler and her husband, Bradley, of Ansonia, Conn.; a brother, Kevin O'Keefe and his wife, Elizabeth, of North Adams, Mass.; a sister, Kathy Bergeron and her husband, Mark, of Adams, Mass.; and his beloved granddaughter, Kadence O'Keefe-Heisler of Ansonia, Conn. He is also survived by his two uncles, Arthur Dickson and Bob Dickson of Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Conn. on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 4 p.m. Family will receive friends in the Bethel Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
