Bruno J. Elias
1918 - 2012 NORTH ADAMS Bruno J. Elias, 94, of 150 Ashland St., North Adams, died on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown.
He was born in Adams on May 10, 1918, son of Peter and Helen Elias. He attended schools in Adams. Mr. Elias last worked in the Maintenance Department at General Electric Co., Pittsfield, for many years until retiring. He had also worked for the former Sprague Electric Co., the former Windsor Mill and the former Arnold Print Works.
His wife, the former Gladys Whipple, whom he married on June 20, 1947, died on Oct. 7, 1976.
He is survived by three sons, William Cote and his wife, Rosella, of Williamstown, Raymond Cote and his wife, Doris, of North Adams and John Elias and his wife, Diane, of Williamstown; three daughters, Patricia Chapman and her husband, Bruce, of Sebring, Fla., Barbara Szaban and her husband, Ronald, of Granby, and Betty Ann Lesnick and her husband, Thomas, of Cheshire and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Walter and Joseph, and by a sister, Victoria.
