Patrick P. Accetta
1924-2013 Mr. Patrick P. Accetta, 89 of Port Orange, Florida, died Sunday June 23, 2013 at Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
He was born in North Adams April 5, 1924, son of the late Patrick Accetta and Doris (Yuliano) Accetta. He attended schools in North Adams and was a graduate from Drury High School.
Pat was a Veteran of the Navy from 1943 until 1946. He served on the USS LST 54 during the Normandy invasion. While serving during World War II, Patrick was awarded the World War II Victory Medal.
Patrick worked at Sprague Electric Company as an assistant to Neal Welch. Pat lived in California before returning to North Adams.
Pat enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, garage sales, browsing through thrift stores and setting up a table at the Flea Market in Port Orange.
His wife was the former Geraldine Fisk, who died June 1, 2007. They were married in November of 1983.
Pat was predeceased by his brother Tony Accetta.
He also leaves his Sister Gloria Martin of Denver Colorado several nieces and nephews, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren all living in Massachusetts.
Pat leaves his two Step-daughters Deborah (Duprat) Dunn and her husband Richard of Southwick MA and Tami (Duprat) Trimarchi and her husband Phillip of South Daytona
