Helen (nee Alexander), 94, of Westwood, NJ passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 1, 2014.
Beloved wife of the late Herbert Abrams, DDS. Devoted mother of Richard A. Abrams, DDS, Susan A. Rubens and Samuel B. Abrams, Esq., and his wife Elizabeth. Dear sister of the late Dr. Stewart Alexander. Loving grandmother of Herbert B. Rubens, PhD., and his wife Adelene and Hannah F. M. Abrams.Also survived by her great-granddaughter Eliana Madison Rubens.
A graduate of Goucher College in Maryland, class of 1941, Helen was past president of the Sisterhood at Temple Emanuel, a board member of the Public Library and active on the board of Juvenile Court. Helen served as a library volunteer for two generations of children at Berkeley Elementary School all in Westwood, NJ.
