DAVIS
Frederick M., of Rutherford passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was born in Hoboken NJ in 1936.
Fred was a lineman for PSE&G in Hackensack for 41 years before retiring in 1998. He belonged to the House of Jims in Wood-Ridge. He was a friendly and familiar face who delivered flowers for 10 years for Rutherford Florist in Rutherford. Most of all Fred was a truly great guy to everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, of 51 wonderful years (nee Mellody). He adored his children; Christopher and his wife Jackie, Kerry, James and his late son Michael (1969), and the joy of his life, his grandson Aiden. He will be missed by his sisters, Peggy Schneider, Mary Henke, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings; Ann Lamagna, Betty Ercolino, and Eddie Davis. He treasured his furry friends, Noodles and Tea.
Funeral Tuesday 8:30 AM from Funeral Home for 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Avenue, Rutherford. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Street, Clifton, NJ.
Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM in the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford, NJ.
