MILLER
Gertrude R. (nee Rugge), age 86, on August 27, 2013 of New Milford. Beloved wife of the late Donald R Miller (1979) and dear companion of David McTernan of New Milford. Loving mother of Frederick Miller and his wife Edna of Paramus, Marilyn Buckley and her husband William of Stockholm, Betty Hogan and her husband Michael of Rochelle Park, and William Miller and his wife Annette of PA. Dear sister of Leslie Rugge and his wife Thelma of Point Pleasant. Adored grandmother of Colin, Kristin, Amanda, Kerry, Bill, Julie, Heather, and Matthew. Mrs. Miller was a member of the First Congregational Church in River Edge as well as a member of their Women's Fellowship; and a member of PEO (Philanthropic Education Organization). Before retiring Gertrude was a RN at Bergen Count Technical School in Hackensack. Family will receive friends at 11 AM on Saturday September 14th at the First Congregational Church in River Edge followed by a memorial Service at 12 noon. In lieu of floral Tributes donations in Gertrude's memory are requested to the NJ State Chapter PEO Sisterhood; 226 Concord Drive River Edge NJ 07661. Arrangements have been handled by the Beaugard Funeral Home 869 Kinderkamack Rd Rd River Edge, NJ 07661.
