ECKBERG
Bertrand Erick, age 82, passed away November 20, 2012 at his home in Dumont.
Born in Weehawken, he lived in Englewood most of his life, and more recently in Ridgefield and Tenafly, before moving to Dumont three years ago. He was a furniture finisher for Ardsley Furniture Co., Bergenfield for many years, retiring in 1984.
Bert will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Linda (nee Curcio), his brother-in-law Carl Curcio and his wife Jothi, his devoted life-long friends Jack Cleary and Marie Cleary, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Gerald Eckberg.
Funeral Saturday 10 AM at the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Interment George Washington Memorial Park. The family will welcome friends Friday 2-7 PM. For those planning an expression of sympathy, donations in Bert's name may be made to the VNR Hospice, Englewood, NJ or to the American Cancer Society.
