Loving mother of John Paravati and wife Gina and Maria Malloy and husband Scott. Loving grandmother of Brandon and Marissa Malloy. Dear sister of Rocco Casali and the late Michael Casali and the late Joe Checca. Adored sister-in-law of Rita Casali, Evelyn Checca, Madeline Fein, Marie Mazzella, and the late Ralph Fein and the late Jimmy Mazzella. Mary was a parishioner at St. Paul R.C. Church for over 51 years where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of 51 years at the Ramsey Golf & Country Club. Salvatore and Mary built their home in the Ramsey Golf & Country Club and closed on it in 1957. After raising her family in Ramsey, she went on to volunteer at various church functions. She also devoted her time by becoming a member to a Bergen County Clown Organization. They would travel in Bergen County to the local assisted living facilities and entertain the residents. Mary loved being with people. She was the most unselfish person that one could know. Mary never asked for anything and always gave her 100% to you. She was a great mother, a devoted wife, loving grandmother and sister, and if she was your friend, she was a loyal person who would go out of her way to help you. She was fortunate enough to have travelled the world and see other countries. One of Mary's favorite sayings was "Treat people the way you would like to be treated." Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Paul R.C. Church in Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
