Predeceased by his loving parents, Helen and Bart Rice Sr. Beloved brother to Skip Rice and his wife Carollyn of River Edge. Loving uncle to Risa and Anthony D'Angelo and their children, Francesca, Sophia and Nicholas of Ramsey, NJ. Gary graduated from River Dell High School in 1963 and was employed by Becton Dickinson for many years. Cremation will be private. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. volkleber.com

RIVER EDGE - Gary C. Rice, 69, died on Feb. 28. Gary graduated from River Dell High School in 1963 and was employed by Becton Dickinson for many years. Gary is survived by his brother Skip Rice and his wife Carollyn of River Edge. Uncle to Risa and Anthony D'Angelo and their children, Francesca, Sophia and Nicholas of Ramsey. Gary is predeceased by his parents, Helen and Bart Rice Sr. Cremation will be private. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Rice, Hugh (Editorial) - Lyndhurst  
LYNDHURST - Hugh F. Rice, 88, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Rice was born in Jersey City and had been a resident of Lyndhurst for more than 55 years. He was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Rice worked as a plant traffic manager for Reinhold Chemical of Newark for more than 40 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the North Arlington Senior Center. Mr. Rice was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Mary (nee Davidson) Rice, by his brothers, Leo, William and George Rice, and by his sister, Sister Agnes Concepta, S.C. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anne S. (nee Stone) Rice, and by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Monday, March 2, from 4-8 p.m., at Nazare Memorial Home, 403 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from Nazare Memorial Home on Tuesday, March 3, at 11 a.m. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Rice's memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148, or to the Lyndhurst Emergency Squad, PO Box 471, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.

Rosa, Millicent M. De (Editorial) - Ridgewood  
RIDGEWOOD - Millicent M. De Rosa, 94, died on Feb. 28. Born in New York City she lived in Riverdale, NY before moving to Ridgewood in May of 2012. She served in the US Navy during WW II as a Yeoman Third Class. Millicent was an administrative assistant for over 20 years for the Putnam County Dept. of Social Services before her retirement and served as President of Local Chapter of the CSEA. She was a former parishioner of St. Gabriel R.C. Church, Riverdale, NY and recently attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Ridgewood. Surviving are her children, Anthony and his wife Roseann De Rosa of Mission Viejo, CA, Adele and her husband Ralph Alfieri of Ridgewood, and Peter and his wife Marti De Rosa of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are her three grandchildren, Maria Elena, Rose-ann and Ralph, four great-grandchildren, Kevin, Frances, Luke, and John and her two sisters, Rosemary Manthey of Wantaugh, NY and Joan Carrozza of Suffern, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Alphonse in 1985. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, 1 Passaic St., Ridgewood. Entombment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Memorial donations may be made to St. Gabriel's R.C. RASKE Michael David, 62, of River Vale, NJ passed away on February 20, 2015. Beloved husband of Cindy (nee Gabis), devoted father Lauren and Dani, son of Gerald and Lillian Raske and brother to Carol Warshaw. Michael was a loving nephew, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many. He was a man who always had a kind word for others. His biggest joys were spending time with his family, at the dog park with Elle, and fishing. He will be greatly missed. Renne, Robert (Editorial) - Pompton Lakes  
POMPTON LAKES — Services were held for Robert F. Renné, 71, of Lanoka Harbor, who died on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He was a former resident of this community. Born and raised in Paterson, Mr. Renné lived in Pompton Lakes for 20 years before moving to Lanoka Harbor five years ago. He was a captain with the Paterson Fire Department, serving at various firehouses throughout the city for 28 years before retiring. Also, he was a member of Lacey Lodge No. 2518 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Services were Monday at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Lacey Elks, Special Needs Children, attn.: Mike Adamski, 900 Beach Boulevard, Forked River, NJ 08731. Mr. Renné is survived by his wife, the former Karen West; his children, Nicole Esteves of Fairfield, Michael Renné of Fairfield, and Michelle Magnus of Meridian, Idaho; and his grandchildren, Dave, Max, Sydney, Lexie, and Brandon.

RICKLI, Alphonse* - Not Provided  
RICKLI Alphonse J. ("Al"), 93, died on February 13, 2015, at the Harris Hill Nursing Home in Clarence, New York. Mr. Rickli was born on February 26, 1921, in New York, New York, the son of the late Alphonse and Mary (Grajcar) Rickli. He was a resident of Manhattan until 1950 when he moved to Cliffside Park, New Jersey following his marriage to Emma Malillo of Fort Lee, New Jersey. He resided in Cliffside Park until Emma's death in 2003 when he relocated to Clarence, New York, the home of his son Richard and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Rickli. Al was a veteran and served as a sergeant in the United States Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II. He participated in the Dolittle Raid on Tokyo, the invasion of Normandy, the liberation of Paris, the Battle of the Bulge and the liberation of the Buchenwald concentration camp. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years, working at the Grand Central Post Office in Manhattan. He then became the office manager for the American Diabetes Association, also in Manhattan, for the next 10 years. A devout Catholic, for many years, Al attended mass daily. He was an active parishioner at the Church of the Epiphany in Cliffside Park, NJ for more than 50 years, and volunteered at many parish events including the annual church carnival. In addition to his wife of 53 years, Emma, Mr. Rickli is predeceased by his sisters, Mary Costello, Pia Rickli and Claire Holbert. He is survived by his sister Pauline Gorbe of Jackson, NJ; his son, Richard, and his wife, Elizabeth, of Clarence, NY; his son, William, and his wife, June, of Liverpool, NY and grandchildren, Kyle Rickli, and his wife, Andrea, of Boston, MA; Stephen Rickli of New York, NY; Christopher Rickli and his wife, Roberta Rickli, of Great Falls, VA; Dan Rickli and his wife, Casey Martin Rickli, of Shrewsbury, MA; Kate Rickli of Charlotte, NC; and four great-grandchildren, Claire, Emma, Grace and Nora Rickli. Funeral from McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 9:15 AM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 28, at the Church of the Epiphany, 247 Knox Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, at 10 AM. The Rickli family will be present to receive family and friends on Friday, February 27, from 4-7PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at the Garden of Memories, Township of Washington, NJ. Robinson, Linda* - Ridgewood  
ROBINSON Linda J., age 63, of Laurel, passed away at her home on February 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, she is the daughter of the late John Donald Alexander and Frances Fisher Alexander of Warwick, New York. Linda was a banker working for Fulton Bank in Laurel, Delaware. She loved to bird watch, but her most favorite hobby was being Mallory's grandmother. She is survived by her husband Russell B. Robinson of Laurel. A son, Matthew Robinson and his wife Natalie of Gansevoort, N.Y. Her brothers, John D. Alexander of Warwick, NY, and David E. Alexander of Goshen, NY. Her precious granddaughter Mallory Robinson of Gansevoort, NY. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive her. In addition to her father, Linda is preceded in death by her sister Cathy Lee. Memorial Service Saturday at 2 PM at Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ Memorial visiting Saturday 12-2 PM. Private cremation took place in Delaware.
