WARES Joseph, G., Jr., 90, on Saturday, August 29, 2015 of Washington Twp. Beloved husband of the late Edna (Bargna). Devoted father of Donna Clifford and her husband Peter, Karen Gilmour and her husband Keith. Loving grandfather of Keith J., Matthew and Eric, great-grandfather of Dylan. Born in Jersey City, he lived there until moving to Washington Twp. 59 years ago. Before retiring, Joseph worked as an electrical engineer at Duro- Test in North Bergen for 45 years. He was a Life Member of the Knights of Columbus in Washington Twp. Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Friday 4-8 PM. Wunderlich, Catherine (Editorial) - 1. New Hanover  
A Mass for former township resident Catherine Doris Seward Wunderlich will be offered Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills. A viewing will be held Monday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood. Mrs. Wunderlich, 92, of Wilmington, N.C., died August 31. Mrs. Wunderlich graduated from Irvington High School. She worked for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. and became a member of the Telephone Pioneers after retirement. Before moving to Wilmington, Mrs. Wunderlich also lived in Chadwick Beach and Palm City, Fla. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Halpatiokee Chapter in Stuart, Fla. Mrs. Wunderlich is survived by three daughters, Mary DeSantis of Long Branch, Jane Grimm of Hilton Head, S.C., and Sally Gibbons of Wilmington; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship Fund at www.dar.org , or St. Jude Hospital for Children at www.stjude.org .

PEQUANNOCK — Services were held for Catherina M. Wallburg, a resident of the Pompton Plains area of this township, who died on Monday, August 24, 2015. Born in Horn, Holland, Mrs. Wallburg lived in Summit before moving to Pompton Plains. She was a founder and partner of Peter Wallburg Studio and Photography in Summit for more than 40 years. Services were Saturday at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, Summit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Cedar Crest Resident Care Fund, 1 Cedar Crest Drive, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444. Mrs. Wallburg is survived by her husband, Peter; her sons, Peter of Whippany, Michael of Nevada, and Billy of Rockaway; three siblings in Holland; and her grandsons, Christopher, Daniel, and Dylan. She was predeceased by her parents, Martin and Anna Bakker; and three siblings.
