ADRIAN Charles V., D.D.S., 85, passed away in his sleep, on December 13, 2014, at the University of Vermont Medical Center after struggling with congestive heart failure for several weeks. Dr. Adrian practiced dentistry for over 40 years in Waldwick, New Jersey, where he was beloved for his positive demeanor by staff and patients alike. Chuck grew up in Paterson, New Jersey, and was a member of the classes of Rutgers University, 1951 and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry, 1955. A member of Temple Israel in Ridgewood, New Jersey, for many years, Chuck served on the boards of several notable Jewish charities. Chuck is survived by Simone Adrian his wife of 45 years, of Mahwah, New Jersey and recently of Shelburne, Vermont; his daughter Lauren Davis and son-in-law Bryan Davis and their children Tyler and Alexa of Williston, Vermont; and his son Edward Adrian and daughter-in-law Jennifer Adrian and their children Elsa and Henry of Burlington, Vermont. Funeral services will be held at Robert Schoem's Funeral Chapel in Paramus, New Jersey at 10 AM on Monday, December 15, 2014.

Agarwal, Veena* - Cedar Grove  
AGARWAL Dr. Veena, M.D., 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning in her Cedar Grove home, surrounded by her loving family. Dr. Agarwal was born in India and immigrated to the United States in 1978, where she practiced internal medicine. She had a passion for music and especially enjoyed singing Hindi songs, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. A highly respected and loved member of her family and community, she will be missed immensely by all. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Ashoke Agarwal, her son, Dr. Saurabh (Linda) Agarwal, her daughter, Parul (Robert) Harley and grandchildren, Sohan, Neela, Kiran, Cian and Maya. She is the devoted daughter of Shyama Devi and the late Dr. Gurmukh Das Agarwal, the beloved sister of Dr. Anil (Meenoo) Agarwal, Meera (Anand) Sahu, Manju (Jitendra) Agarwal and Kumud (Anil) Bansal, and the adoring and adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. The family will receive family and friends on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 11 AM - 12:30 PM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Agnolet, Lucia* - Clifton  
AGNOLET Lucia "Fides" (Milanese), 90, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones at home. Fides was born on July 17, 1924, in Sarmede in province of Treviso, Italy and emigrated to the United States in 1938 settling in Raritan before moving to Clifton in 1940. Fides was a beautiful and loving wife, a beloved mother and a devoted daughter. She loved her family, little children, animals, and flowers and gave countless moments of love, kindness and happiness to all she knew. She married John Agnolet in April 1947 and raised two children. She worked at the Forstmann Woolen Co. in Garfield, and as a winder for Spinnerin Yarn Co. in South Hackensack prior to her retirement in 1988. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church. She is survived by her husband John, her daughter Debra Agnolet of Clifton, her son Dr. Glenn Agnolet of College Station, Texas, her brother Anthony B. Milanese of Garner, North Carolina and many loving nieces and nephews. She spent many hours sharing the memories and stories of her parents and her childhood. Fides was preceded in death by her parents Regina (nee Battistuz) and Leone Milanese, and her sisters Mrs. Raymond (Ines) Matchett, and Mrs. Richard (Zaira) Palatini. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital to continue the love and caring she had for all children. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Tuesday, December 16th, 2014 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church at 10 AM. ALBERT Edward V. Sr., on December 19, 2014, formerly of Bogota. Born in NYC on September 13, 1929 to Edward V. and Bertha Albert. Before retiring he was Director of Distribution for Mack Drug Co., Hackensack. Since retiring he was a starter at Bergen County Golf Courses and an umpire for several Bergen County softball leagues. He was a member of the Bogota Fire Department, Hose Company # 3, where he served as Captain and Department Chief. He belonged to the Bogota Exempt Firemen's Association. He is survived by his wife Inez; his children Joy Martin and her husband Billy, John S. Albert and his wife Kathy; grandchildren Edward V. Albert III, Ryan Albert, Heather Mehler and her husband Dan, Carly Martin and Jonathan Albert. He was predeceased by his son Edward V. Albert, Jr and his sisters Helen Nowak, Evelyn Albert and Muriel Cook. Visiting at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. All will meet at the funeral home Monday morning at 9, prior to leaving at 9:30 for the interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Bogota Fire Department or the NJ Firemen's Home, 565 Lathrop Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 would be appreciated.

ALTOMARE, Vincent* - Ho-Ho-Kus  
ALTOMARE Vincent, 85, of Mahwah, formerly of Ho-Ho-Kus, passed away December 13, 2014 peacefully with all of his loving family by his side. His is survived by his dedicated wife, Carmel. They just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in November and met when they were 15 years old. Vincent is also survived by his four children, Maureen Molé of Mahwah formerly of Ridgewood, Frank and his wife, Donna Altomare, of Mahwah, Mary Jean and her husband, Vincent Badalamenti, of Ho-Ho-Kus, and Regina and her husband, Brian Weisman, of Mahwah, formerly of Saddle River. Vincent is also survived by 13 grandchildren who were all at his side as he passed, and 3 great grandchildren. Vincent was born on May 21, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Polytechnic School of Engineering and received a Master's degree in marketing from New York University. He and Carmel moved to Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ in 1972 and lived there for over 30 years before moving to Mahwah, NJ. Vincent served in US Naval Reserves and was founder and president of Alto Associates, Inc., a manufacturers' representative company. He and his wife have been avid travelers; in his later years, he enjoyed wood-carving and fishing with his grandchildren. But his major joy was his family. The Altomare residence was the center of family parties, celebrations, and holidays for decades. Vincent was active in the Knights of Columbus in St. Gabriel's Parish in Saddle River, NJ. He had the honor of serving as the Grand Knight among other volunteer services his did for the church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the wake at Feeney Funeral Home located at 232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood, NJ on Monday evening December 15, 7-9 and Tuesday, December 16, 2-4 and 7-9. On Wednesday, December 17 at 11 AM, a concelebrated Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Paul Bootkoski and Reverend Monsignor Frank G. Del Prete at St. Gabriel's Church, 88 East Saddle River Rd., Saddle River, NJ. Private Cremation will follow.
