CALLANAN William Francis, 78, of Ramsey, NJ died on April 15, 2014. He was born on December 9, 1935 in New York City, along with his twin brother, Thomas, to Thomas and Margaret (Fleming) Callanan. He graduated from All Hallows High School in the Bronx, then entered the work force full time - quick to learn and eager to succeed. Many who knew him would claim he was the best salesman they'd ever known. After 22 years at Dundee Mills, he started his own textile firm, Kel-Tex Linen Company, where he remained until retirement. His professional life gave him an opportunity to travel the world and make lifelong friends. Bill was a devout Catholic and parishioner at St. Paul's in Ramsey, NJ. He was an active member of Ramsey Golf and Country Club and the president of Ryder Cup in PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, FL for almost ten years. Above all was his love of family. His generous, fun-loving nature was infectious. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 50 years, his angel, Patricia Walsh Callanan, and by his children, Kelly Petersen and her husband, Jack, of Ridgewood, NJ, Keith Callanan and his wife, Judy, of New York, NY, Katherine Pash and her husband, Patrick, of Ridgewood, NJ and Scott Callanan of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Jack and Ryan Petersen, Luke Pash, and William Callanan; and his brother, Thomas Callanan of Riverside, CA. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Paul R.C. Church in Ramsey. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. CAMPAGNA Louis J., 93, of Manchester died Sunday April 20, 2014 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He worked as a Comptroller for 30 years for Standard Chemical products in Hoboken and then as a Realtor for AG Marano Associates in Ridgefield for 14 years before retiring in 1990. He served in the Army Air Corps as a Corporal during WWII from 1942-1945. Born in Bayonne he resided in Cliffside Park for 28years before moving to Manchester in 2001. He was a Past President of the Hoboken Kiwanis Club, Chairman of the Hoboken Red Cross Fund Drive and a member of the Parents without Partners Chapter #548 in Clifton. He was a founding member and director of "The Diversities," a volunteer entertainment group for the local hospitals and nursing homes. He was a parishioner of the Epiphany Church in Cliffside Park and St John's Church, Lakehurst. Surviving is his son, Fredrick and wife Lois of Woodcliff Lake, two grandchildren, Eric and Michael, and devoted companion Doris Zorn. Visitation is Thursday 4-7 PM with a 6:30 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester. Entombment is Friday 11 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. KINNELON — Services will be held for Michael G. Carbone, DC, DAAPM, 42, of this community, who died on Thursday, April 17, 2014. Dr. Carbone was born and raised in Pequannock. In 1997, he opened the Carbone Chiropractic Center in Florham Park, now known as the multi-disciplinary Total Health Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center. In 2001, he opened multiple practices in Ohio, and in 2010 he acquired a chiropractic office in Berkeley Heights, now known as the multi-disciplinary Peak Medical. He holds a certificate from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and a diplomat from the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a certified Chiropractic Sports Medicine Specialist and holds a certificate in electrodiagnostics from the New Jersey Board of Chiropractic and the American Association of Sensory Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He also is certified in manipulation under anesthesia and the treatment of repetitive trauma disorders. He earned his chiropractic licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. And, he was an active member of the American Academy of Pain Management, the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors, and the American Chiropractic Association Arrangements are by the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne. Interment will be at the First Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Voices Against Brain Cancer, 1375 Broadway, Third Floor, New York, NY 10018. Dr. Carbone is survived by his wife, the former Alison Sebzda; his son, Michael; his daughter, Alexandra; his mother, Marta; and his brothers, John, Christopher, Joseph, and Demetro.
