MACKRELL Esther A. (McGowan), 86, of Fair Lawn, NJ passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, residing in Fair Lawn since 1968. She was a parishioner of St. Anne's R.C. Church in Fair Lawn. Esther will be remembered for her devotion to family and friends whom she always put before herself. Prior to retiring, she was a Teletype operator with Solomon Brothers and Reuters Companies both located on the NY Stock Exchange. Beloved wife of the late Tom Mackrell. Loving and devoted mother of Esther Crawford and her husband Anthony, Tommy Mackrell and his wife Eileen, Patrick Mackrell and his wife Briege, Matthew Mackrell and his wife Angela, and Edmund Mackrell. Cherished grandmother of Briege, Ciara, Patti, Roisin, Thomas, and Angela. Sister of the late John, Bill, Alec and Tom McGowan. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, May 24, 2016, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, 201-797-3500. A Funeral Mass is planned for Wednesday 10AM at St. Anne's R.C. Church 15-05 St. Anne's Street Fair Lawn. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Valhalla, NY. Mallet, Florida* - Oradell  
MALLET Florida Marie, 96, of Oradell passed away peacefully on May 11, 2016. Born in Bas Caraquet, NB Canada, she was the daughter of the late Marguerite Ross and Alfred LeBouthillier. Florida was a homemaker and a caregiver to the elderly. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit and her way of making everyone she knew feel special. She was famous for her homemade bread, soup, fudge, taffy and meat pies. She served with the VFW Auxiliary for many years. She cherished her summers spent in Canada swimming in the Baie des Chaleurs. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ben, Daniel, James and Kathy, Diane and Stan (Yotka), Claire and Dallas (Fagan), Gregory and Kelly, Victor and Maria, seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Florida was pre-deceased by her husband Domicien, her son Jack and her daughter-in-law, Sonia. Also her siblings Anna, Bertha, Paul and Benoit. Memorial donations may be made to the Veterans Memorial Home, Paramus, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 10 AM at St. Josephs R.C. Church, 300 Elm St.,Oradell. A private burial will be held at a later date.

MANNING Bridget Delia (nee Rush), age 90 a longtime resident of Bogota and recently of Manassas Park, Virginia, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Charles M. Manning. Devoted mother of John Manning and his wife Theresa. Loving grandmother of Jessica and Sean. Dear sister of Mary Flynn, Anna Mae McGovern, Margaret Dennehy, Philomena Kenny, and the late Josey Griffin. Bridget was a longtime and dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Bogota. She was also an active member of the Bergen Irish Association where she formally served as Vice President. She also worked in the cafeteria at Farleigh Dickenson University. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday 5-7 PM and Monday 9-10:30 AM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, NJ. A funeral service will commence at 10:30 from the funeral home to St. Joseph's R.C. Church for an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Manookian, Jack* - Park Ridge  
MANOOKIAN Jack, son of Loretta and the late Jack Manookian of Park Ridge, passed on May 11th, at the age of 64, of cancer. He was a Master Mechanic specializing in commercial overhead doors and rolling steel doors. He was also an experience welder who took pride in his work. He is survived by his best friend and soul mate, Lauretta. His siblings Kathy, Diane and her husband Tom and son David. Candy and husband Bill, Nancy and brother Joseph. He leaves many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Susan and brother Robert.

Manser, Spencer* - Rutherford  
MANSER Spencer, 66 years old of Rutherford, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 21st, surrounded by his loving family at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA. Son of Mary (Mae) and David Manser, Spencer was raised in Carlstadt, NJ and was a lifelong parishioner of St Joseph's Church, East Rutherford NJ. Spencer and his wife Barbara havebeen residents of Rutherford for 38 years. He served in the US Navy on the USS Springfield, and then started his career as a rigger with Joseph M. Sanzari Inc. (JMS) for over 30 years and was a member of Teamster Local 560. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 41 years Barbara (Marzocca) Manser and his loving children, Jennifer Manser O'Rourke, her husband Ryan O'Rourke of Rutherford, Lauren Manser of Rutherford, David Manser, wife Caroline Rudowski Manser of South Windsor, CT, and his four blessed grandchildren Avery, Ashlyn, Brendan & Ella. He was loved by many brothers and sisters including his sister Mickey (Marcella) DeRosa and husband, the late Jack DeRosa, the late Faith Cherasia and husband Peter Cherasia, the late David Manser and wife Maryann Manser-Pritchard and his sister-in-law Patricia Fischer and husband Ted Fischer, brother-in-law John Marzocca and wife Michelle Marzocca. Spencer was also loved by many nieces and nephews. He was a devoted father and Poppi whose greatest joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan and fisherman and will especially miss spending summers at his 'little shore house" in Toms River, NJ. Funeral Wednesday 9AM from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford followed by a 10AM Mass of Christian Liturgy, in St. Joseph's Church 120 Hoboken Road E. Rutherford.
