Taube, Stuart Michael (Sandy)* - North Bergen  
TAUBE Stuart (Sandy) Michael, 69, of North Bergen died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, New Jersey following a brief illness. He leaves his wife Janet Loren, His sister Susan Taube, his daughters Jennifer Raphaels, Molly Taube, and Amy Taube Kaylor, his stepson Sean Zimmermann, his granddaughters Elizabeth and Audrey Raphaels, and his many close friends. Sandy was a warm, generous, brilliant man who enjoyed scintillating conversations, baseball, deep sea fishing, and driving. He was legendary for his knowledge of geography, his wonderful puns and answering the final Jeopardy question. He was loved by many, and we will all miss his gentleness and his humor. To him, we just want to say, "Thanks a lot." There will be no service. Taylor, Eileen (Editorial) - Riverdale  
RIVERDALE — Services were held for Eileen D. Dempsey Taylor, 87, of Vernon Township, who died on Sunday, June 19, 2016. She was a former resident of this community. Born in Montclair, Mrs. Taylor lived in Riverdale before moving to Vernon Township in 1980. She was a homemaker. Also, she was a graduate of the Berkeley Secretarial School. Services were Saturday at Clove Cemetery, Wantage Township. Arrangements were by the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, Vernon. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son, Joseph of Sussex; her daughter, Deborah Turner of Lakeville, Mass.; her sisters, Jean Powers of Pompton Plains, and Doris Dempsey of Las Vegas; her grandchildren, Stacy Murphy, Christine Eccles, Tim Turner, and Holly Turner; and her great-grandchildren, Sage Marie and James Eccles. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; her parents, Peter and Irene Dempsey; her brothers, William and Jackie Dempsey; and her sisters, Joan Nighland and Lorraine Dempsey.

Taylor, Eileen D. (Editorial) - Vernon Township  
Eileen D. Taylor (nee Dempsey), 87, passed away after a long illness at Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Born to Peter and Irene Dempsey in Montclair, N.J., she lived in Riverdale, N.J. before moving to Vernon Twp., N.J. in 1980. Taylor was a graduate of Berkeley Secretarial School and was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music, and watching old movies. Taylor was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Taylor, Jr., and two brothers, William and Jackie Dempsey, and two sisters, Joan Nighland and Lorraine Dempsey. She was the devoted mother of Joseph E. Taylor of Sussex, N.J., and Deborah Turner of Lakeville, Mass. She was the loving grandmother of Stacy Murphy, Christine Eccles, and Tim and Holly Turner. Taylor was the great-grandmother of Sage Marie and James Eccles. She was the dear sister of Jean Powers of Pompton Plains, N.J., and Doris Dempsey of Las Vegas, Nev. Graveside services will be at Clove Cemetery, Wantage Twp., N.J. Cremation services by Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon, N.J. Beloved husband of Sandra (Smith) Thompson of Haskell, loving father of Benjamin Thompson and his wife Lorin of Haskell and John Thompson of Haskell, dear brother of Roger Thompson of Bloomingdale and the late Irene. Grandfather of Lacey, Rebekah, Bobby and Steven. Visiting at the D'Agostino Funeral Home 881 Ringwood Avenue, Haskell on Monday 4-8 PM with a 7:30 PM service at the funeral home.

He was a heavy equipment operator for Local 825, Springfield, for 25 years before retiring in 2001. Services were Monday at the D'Agostino Funeral Home, Haskell. Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, the former Sandra Smith; his sons, Benjamin and John, both of Haskell; his brother, Roger of Bloomingdale; and his grandchildren, Lacey, Rebekah, Bobby, and Steven. He was predeceased by his sister, Irene.

TOMASINI Ilario, age 90, of Hawthorne, on Thursday, June 23, 2016. Born in Pola, Italy, Ilario came to the U.S. in 1950 and had resided in Hawthorne for the last 45 years. A parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church in Hawthorne, Ilario had worked as a chemist for Inmont Chemical and later BASF in Hawthorne. Always a kind, loving, and amiable person, Ilario took great joy in socializing with family and friends, a glass of wine, and Italian music. Ilario Tomasini was the beloved husband of the late Diana (nee Manzin) Tomasini (2008). Loving father of Frank Tomasini and his wife Cookie of Hawthorne, and Mary Christine Rinaldi and her husband Angelo of Hawthorne. Dear grandfather of Kristofer Rinaldi and his wife Jeanmarie, Anthony Rinaldi and his wife Michele, Tara, Frankie, and Rosie Tomasini, and Danielle Warner and her husband Chris. Great-grandfather of Nico, Nicholas, Jackson, and Lucas. Brother of the late Adelma Oligieri. Funeral will be departing at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 27, 2016 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne, for a 11 AM funeral mass at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 PM.
