Zaretski, Dr. Leonard* - Haledon  
ZARETSKI Dr. Leonard M., a native of Paterson, passed away at his home in Salisbury, MD on February 2, 2016. He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Shelby and son-in-law Bill Mich, brother Patrick, sister-in-law Niccole Zaretski, sister Kathleen, niece Nicole Zaretski, aunts Elizabeth Halik and Ann Simonetti, and uncle Paul Simonetti. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Pauline Zaretski. Memorial service to be held at St. Stephens R.C. Church, 86 Martin St,, Paterson on Feb. 13, 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army.

Zeman, Leah* - Nazareth  
ZEMAN Leah E., 88, of Nazareth, PA, and formerly of Saylorsburg, died Sunday, January 31 in Alexandria Manor, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Paul H. Zeman who passed away in 2010. Born and raised in Lower Fairview, NJ, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Emily (Wanecek) Janssen. She had started the Girl Scouts while living in Lower Fairview. Leah was an artist - a painter and doll-maker. She was of the Lutheran faith. She is survived by a daughter Eileen McDonough and her husband John of Midland, MI; her son, Paul M. Zeman and his wife Susan of Nazareth and four grandchildren, Deirdre (McDonough) Blackhurst, John P. McDonough, Donald Zeman and Douglas Zeman. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 6 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 US Route 209 Brodheadsville, PA with Rev. David Felker officiating. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. Interment of Leah and Paul's cremated remains will follow the service in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 PM until the time of the service. www.kresgefuneralhome.com

Zuchowski, Anne* - Pompton Plains  
ZUCHOWSKI Anne M. of Pompton Plains passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016. She was 92. Born to Nicola and Assunta Ruggieri, Anne married Edward Zuchowski and the couple lived in Jersey City where they had their four children, prior to moving to North Arlington, before finally retiring to Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Plains, ten years ago. Anne was a member of the Rosary Society, the Columbiettes, the Alhambras, the North Arlington Senior Citizens and the Italian American Club. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Edward; her son Edward and his wife, Juliann; her daughters, Marianne Lettieri and Janet Greco and her husband, Daniel; her brother, Victor Ruggieri; her sister, Louise Cucco; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Shannon, Danielle, Jerome, Ashley, and Simone; and her seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, David. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at the Cedar Crest Chapel at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. The family will receive visitors at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home in Pompton Plains on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org , would be appreciated by her family.

Zweil, William* - New Port Richie  
ZWEIL William C., 84, of New Port Richie, FL, formerly of Teaneck and Paramus. Vol. Fireman Co. 1 for 27 years, retired from Pepsi Cola. Beloved father of Julie Garland, Lucy Duke, Denise Delsardo, Gina Monti, William Jr., and Charles Zweil. Dear brother of Mary Doran, Teaneck. Adored by fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
