ACKER, Robert*  
ACKER Robert H., age 76 of Wayne, died peacefully at his home on Friday, May 1, 2015. He was a resident of Packanack Lake for fifty two years. A graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology, Bob retired from Singer-Kearfott in 1995 as Sr. VP of Operations after a 35 year career. He later became Associate Dean of Corporate Programs at Stevens, retiring in 2005. He was a standout basketball player for Emerson High School in Union City and recently inducted into the school's Hall of Fame. Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who was capable of fixing anything and passed those skills down to his family. Bob is survived by his loving wife of fifty three years; Bettyanne (nee Breitenbach) of Wayne, three children; Robert and his wife Carolyn of Highland Lakes, NJ, Betsy Cassini and her husband Chris of Pipersville, PA, and Katie Sikorski and her husband Dave of Wayne, seven grandchildren; Erin, Kevin and Emily Acker of Highland Lakes, Lauren and Christopher Cassini of Pipersville, PA, and Hannah and Riley Sikorski of Wayne, and two cousins; Henry Acker of Pennsylvania and Joan Makwinski of Wayne, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Friends may visit with the family at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 4-7 PM. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday evening, at the funeral home. Donations to the Passaic Valley Hospice would be appreciated. ACKER Violet (nee Behnke), 94, of Paramus, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015. She was a founding member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Maywood and she remained active there throughout her life. Cherished wife of the late Howard Acker. Beloved mother of Howard W. Acker, Jr. and his wife Debra of Rochelle Park. Devoted grandmother of Christopher and Matthew and great-grandmother of Violet and Emily. Dear sister of Elizabeth Weising. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 9:30 am - 10:00 am at the Zion Lutheran Church, 120 East Pleasant Avenue, Maywood followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Service at the church. PARAMUS - Violet Acker (Behnke), 94, died on May 2. She was a founding member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Maywood and she remained active there throughout her life. She is survived by her son Howard W. Acker Jr. and his wife Debra of Rochelle Park, her grandchildren Christopher and Matthew, great-grandchildren Violet and Emily and sister Elizabeth Weising. She is predeceased by her husband Howard Acker. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 6 from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 120 East Pleasant Ave., Maywood followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Service at the church. Agag, Anthony* - Wyckoff  
AGAG Anthony age 86, of Wyckoff, passed away late Friday night, May 1, 2015. Son of Amina and Richard Agag, he was born and raised in Paterson, and then lived in Clifton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After getting married, he moved to Wyckoff where he lived for 43 years. Anthony practiced dentistry in Clifton for 50 years before retiring at 80 years old. He was a member of the Passaic County Dental Society. He also taught dentistry at the Fairleigh Dickson University. After retiring, Anthony was an active volunteer at the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff. He is survived by his wife Joan, his daughter Darlene, his son Richard, his grandsons, Alexander and Matthew, and his sister Dolores Tria. Visiting hours are Tuesday, May 5, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com , 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 6th at 10:00AM at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will follow at Valleau Cemetery, 660 Glen Ave., Ridgewood, NJ. Anderson, Florence* - Paterson  
ANDERSON Florence R., 70, of Paterson, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2015. She was born in Paterson, NJ on June 19, 1944 to Florence and Jacob King. Florence enjoyed indoor archery and won several titles for NJ competitions. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Anderson for 48 years. She was the cherished mother of Roxanne Cadavid and her husband Mauricio and treasured "Mamma" of Bre Liotard and Joseph Cadavid. She was the dear sister of Martha Palamidy and was predeceased by her brother Jacob King and sister Doris DeMarco. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ 07424. ARZENIS-WAGNER Lorraine Ann (nee Schmitt), 56, of Norwood, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015. Devoted mother of William Arzenis, Chris Arzenis and Nicole Wagner. Cherished daughter of Dorothy Schmitt. Loving sister of Karen Baccanini, Kristina Minch, Linda Calise and Robert Schmitt. ASBATY, Diane (Wozney)* - North Haledon  
ASBATY Diane, (nee Wozney), 71, of North Haledon died on April 28, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Paterson, Diane has lived in North Haledon for forty five years. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church in Prospect Park. Prior to retiring she was Co-Owner of The International Bakery in Hawthorne. She is survived by her beloved husband George W. Asbaty of North Haledon and a loving daughter Robyn Blaschak of Franklin Lakes and two loving sons, Brad J. Blaschak and wife Lucia of North Haledon and John A. Asbaty and wife Diandra of Chicago, IL. Her dear sister, Karen Peano and husband Mario of North Haledon also survive. There are two cherished grandchildren, Madden and Jersey Asbaty surviving. Diane was predeceased by her first loving husband John Blaschak in 1969 and her adoring brother John Wozney in 1979. Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:30 am at St. Paul's RC Church, Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. There are no visiting hours.
