Piano, Jon Mario* - Naples  
PIANO Jon Mario 79, of Naples, Fl. formerly of Spring Lake, Mahwah, Oradell and Hasbrouck Heights, NJ passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015. Born in Englewood to the late Dr. Mario and Violet Piano. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken where he was inducted into Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society. Jon was an Army veteran serving from 1959-1962 in Army Intelligence for the Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Before retiring, Jon was Vice-President and Officer-In-Charge of Disability Income at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in New York City where he worked for thirty-five years. Previously, he was Vice-President of its Small Business Products. In 1978, he became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and is an enrolled Actuary and member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Pinchbeck) Piano. Devoted father of Robert Piano and his wife Sophia and Karen Dinicola and her husband Patrick and the late Joann Rumsey. Step-father of Kent Moreno, Scott Moreno and Susana Olsson-Moreno. Dear brother of Violet Scutero and James Piano. Loving grandfather of Lindsey, Kyle, Aiden, Olivia, William, Megan, Ben, Lara, Sophia, Kahla and the late Kristin and Zachary. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church Hasbrouck Heights on Tuesday, September 1st at 11 AM. Interment following at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack. Visitation Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights. PINO James J., 90, of North Haledon, passed away on August 27, 2015. Born in Tyler, Pennsylvania he lived in Fair Lawn before moving to North Haledon in 1957. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during World War II and prior to his retirement he was an office worker for Midland Park Lumber. Beloved husband of Wanda (nee Plackwic). Devoted father of James (Alberta) Pino, Joan (John) Beun and Michael (Arlene) Pino. Loving grandfather of Kristen, Jodi and James. Dear brother of John Pino and Virginia Zambrano and predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive family and friends on Monday from 3-7 PM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral Services Tuesday 11 AM at the funeral home. BUTLER — Services will be held for Richard A. De Pol, 79, of Nokomis, Fla., who died on Friday, August 14, 2015. He was a former resident of this borough. Born in Passaic, Mr. De Pol lived in Butler for 43 years before moving to Nokomis in 2012. He was the owner of Video One Productions and Du-All Construction in Butler as well as My Insurance Man in Paterson. Also, he served as a borough councilman and police commissioner in Butler. He was a member of the HOA Board of Sorrento Woods in Nokomis. He was a U.S. Army veteran. And, he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University. Arrangements are by the Farley Funeral Home, Venice, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Camp Better America. Mr. De Pol is survived by his wife, the former Florence Michalik; his daughter, Kathleen Gagg of Sarasota, Fla.; his son, Richard of Nokomis; his brother, Robert of Laguna Hills, Calif.; and his grandchildren, Brianne, Bryan, and Brooke. He was predeceased by his sister, Eleanor Mitchell.

NEWFOUNDLAND — Services were held for David Scott Post, 39, of this community, who died on Sunday, August 23, 2015. Mr. Post was born in Newton. He was a 1995 graduate of West Milford High School. Also, he was a musician who had played bass guitar in a rock band in high school. Services were Saturday at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, Newfoundland, followed by interment at North Hardyston Cemetery, North Hardyston. Mr. Post is survived by his mother, Carole Hillmann of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; his father, Ronald Post of Newfoundland; and his brother, Ronald Post of Newfoundland.

RIVERDALE — Services were held for Carol Ann Cerka Price-Decker, 70, of this community, who died on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Born in West New York, Mrs. Price-Decker lived in Westwood before moving to Riverdale in 1999. She was a real-estate agent for Weichert Realty for 15 years. Previously, she worked for the Hackensack Water Company in New Milford. Services were Monday at the Becker Funeral Home, Westwood, followed by Mass at Assumption Church, Emerson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the New York Presbyterian/Columbia Center for Lung Disease and Transplantation. Mrs. Price-Decker is survived by her husband, Daniel Decker; her daughter, Stacey Price-Munson; her sons, Scott and Kevin Price; her stepson, Daniel Decker; and her grandchildren, Stephen, Kayla, Connor, Krista, and Jamey. She was predeceased by her brother, Peter Cerka.
