Callari, Salvatore* - Manahawkin  
CALLARI Salvatore, 89, of Manahawk-in, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Born in Lodi, NJ, he lived in Garfield, NJ prior to Manahawkin where he resided for the last 19 years. He worked as a Field Supervisor for United Parcel Service, Newark. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Salvatore is predeceased by his brothers; Domenic and Thomas Callari and his sister Ida Day. He is survived by his wife, Louise A. Boehm, his two sons; Eric and Bruce Callari, his two daughters; Patricia Hobin and Pamela Sendowski, his two brothers; Angelo and Leonard Callari; his two sisters; Mary Padula and Josephine Luciano, his seven grandchildren and his former wife Lillian Callari. CASELLI, Marco "Mike"* - New Milford  
CASELLI Marco "Mike", 94, of New Milford, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2016 at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home at Paramus. Marco was born and raised in Bronx, NY. He moved to New Milford in 1955 and lived in the same home until moving to the Veterans Home in 2012. As a young man, Marco worked in his father's delicatessen and bakery in the Bronx before serving in the Army Air Force during World War II. After the war, he pursued a career in the construction industry as a concrete truck driver for the Colonial Sand and Stone and then for the Transit Mix companies, retiring in 1977. He was a loyal member of Local 282 Teamsters Union. During retirement Marco enjoyed working on his home, his son Mark's boat, and building model airplanes. He became quite a master model builder concentrating on World War II aircraft. One of his favorite activities was getting his grandchildren from school and "sneaking" them off to McDonald's for an afterschool snack. He was the devoted father to his son Dr. Mark Caselli and his wife Susan, of Ramsey. Adored grandfather of Christopher Caselli, of New Milford, Joanne Caselli, of Bergenfield, and Nicholas Caselli, of Ramsey. Beloved brother of Emilia Caruso and Viola Franco, both of Harrison, NY. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Marco was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Susan, and his son, Joseph. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25 from 2-6 pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, September 26 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 105 Harrison St., New Milford, NJ. CLARKE Desmond S., of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at the age of 82 years. He was born in Trinidad, West Indies. Prior to retiring he was the Material Management Supervisor at Hackensack University Medical Center. Beloved husband for 16 years of Cynthia S. Agnese (nee Costomiris). Devoted father of Deliah Clarke, Edmund Clarke, Rodney George, all of Trinidad, Cornell Lewis of Japan,, Celestine Matthews of Queens, NY, Dr. Doreen Agnese of Columbus, OH and Debra Calle of New Milford. Cherished grandfather of Randy, Roland, Lester, Lyndon, Cassandra, Zack, Max, Santana, Xiomara and Samaya. Dearest brother of Eileen Morancie of Brooklyn, NY. Cody, Jane (Editorial) - Pompton Plains  
PEQUANNOCK — Services were held for Jane B. Cody, 87, of the Pompton Plains area of this township, who died on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Born in Dover, Mrs. Cody was a longtime resident of Rockaway Township before moving to Pompton Plains. She was a secretary for the West Morris Board of Education before retiring in 1992. Services were Thursday at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover. Arrangements were by the Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. Mrs. Cody is survived by her children, Robert of Robbinsville, Carol of Indianapolis, Ind., and James of Bridgewater; her brother, James Brooks of Ocean City; and her granddaughter, Megan Cody. She was predeceased by her husband, Byron.

Cohen, Marcia* - Springfield  
COHEN Marcia Yvette (nee Goodstein), 87, of Westfield, previously Springfield, passed away on Thursday, September 15. Her husband of 61 years, Ira Cohen, predeceased her two years ago. She is survived by her three children: Karen Prosnitz (Cantor Ted), Kenneth Cohen (Rochelle), and Aimee Krewinski (Gary); as well as by her grandchildren: Jared, Reyna, and Rachel Prosnitz, Gabrielle and Jordana Cohen, and Amanda and John Krewinski. Marcia was born in Newark to Joseph and Rebecca Goodstein. She graduated from Indiana University. Marcia worked in fashion advertising in New York City, and then in the family business, Padis, Inc. in Irvington. For many years, Marcia worked for Serta in the Ironbound section of Newark. She proudly held several offices, including the presidency of her local chapter of B'nai B'rith Women. A voracious reader and also an inveterate newspaper article clipper, her hobbies included sewing, needlepoint, macramé, and rug hooking. Marcia especially enjoyed going to auctions with her husband; and she loved to sing. Arrangements through Menorah Chapels at Millburn.

Costello, Dorothy* - Ho-Ho-Kus  
COSTELLO Dorothy L. (nee McDonnell), 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Ho-Ho-Kus on Thursday, September 22, 2016. Dorothy was proud to have been born and raised in Manhattan but called Ho-Ho-Kus home since 1955. In Manhattan she was active in the United Irish Counties League where she would meet her future husband, Martin. In Ho-Ho-Kus she was very active in St. Luke's Church, serving as a Eucharist Minister, member of the Rosary Society, and taught CCD for many years. Dorothy worked for many years as Assistant Manager of Georg Jensen Specialty Jewelry Store in The Fashion Center in Paramus. Predeceased by her husband, Martin J. Costello, she is survived by her loving children: Patricia, John, Loretta, and Martin. By her son in laws: Thomas J., and Dean. By her daughter in law: Peggy. By her grandchildren: Laura, Christina, Dean, and Joseph. By her great grandchildren: Dean, Ryan, Khloe, Owen, Lucas, and Jonathan. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 26, 2016 10:30am at St. Luke's Church in Ho-Ho-Kus, followed by interment in St. Luke's Cemetery. Coti, Ralph (Editorial) - Ridgewood  
RIDGEWOOD - Ralph C. Coti, 63, died on Sept. 14. Born on Oct. 16, 1952, in the Bronx, Ralph made his home in Ridgewood with his wife Mary Alice and son Peter. Ralph received his B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, from Columbia College, and his J.D. and M.B.A. from Columbia University. Admitted to the New York and New Jersey bars, Ralph built a busy and respected practice as one of the last of a dying breed: the generalist attorney in Manhattan. His practice areas included real estate, corporate transactions, trust and estate, litigation, not-for-profit and tax matters. Ralph was a scholar, historian, lover of literature, patriot and contrarian. A devout Roman Catholic and staunch political conservative, he was also a gentle and unvaryingly courteous soul. Ralph was unforgettable. In addition to his wife and son, Ralph is survived by his sisters Valerie Ferlauto and Laura Coti Garrett, and their husbands and children. He is also survived by his aunts Fil Magavero and Tecla Martemucci. A funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Ridgewood on Sept. 19. Interment at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. Arrangements were by the C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home in Ridgewood.
