Dalholt, Odd* - Port Orange  
DALHOLT Odd H., was born in Rise, Norway on August 1st, 1924 and went home to glory on March 14th, 2016. He immigrated to the United States when he was 21. He met his wife, Aslaug in the 59th St. Lutheran Bretheren Church in Brooklyn. They were married and moved to NJ. He worked as a carpenter and builder in NJ and WA. They retired to Fl where they lived until they moved to an assisted living facility in NC in January of 2015. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Aslaug, three children, Anne Marie and her husband Bob Poole, Norman, and Paul and his wife Robin. He was Grampa to Thomas, David, Josiah and Andrew, and great-Grampa to Charlotte. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held on May 21st at 2 PM at Salem Funerals Chapel, 120 South Main Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. DeGise, Lyda (Editorial) - Wyckoff  
RINGWOOD — Services were held for Lyda Barbaris DeGise, 95, of Wyckoff, who died on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. She was the mother of Paul of this community. Born in Paterson, Mrs. DeGise moved to Wyckoff in 1949. She was a nurse at St. Elizabeth School, Wyckoff, for nine years. Also, she was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, Wyckoff. She graduated as a registered nurse from Paterson General Hospital School of Nursing in 1941 as well. Services were Saturday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff, followed by Mass at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church. Interment was at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Van Dyke Manor of Montclair, 42 North Mountain Ave., Montclair, NJ 07042; or to the Salesian Sisters, 659 Belmont Ave., Haledon, NJ 07508. Mrs. DeGise also is survived by her daughter, Donna Benden of LaCrosse, Wis.; her grandchildren, Dawn, Dana, Denise, Danielle, Joseph, Jason, Jennifer, and David; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William; and her son, Joseph.

DeRUBEIS Eileen M. (nee Sheehan), 82 years old, passed away on Tuesday, April 26,2016 with her family by her side. Originally from New York City, she was a resident of Maywood since 1964. Survived by her husband of 59 wonderful years Larry DeRubeis and her sister Clarissa Zanoni. Mother of Anne (Paul) Ashbury, Caroline (Edward) Gilligan and Larry T. DeRubeis. Grandmother of Adam Merz, Roger Baldanza, Zachary Ashbury and Samuel Ashbury. Eileen opened her heart to Scott McLachlan and Steve Pilewski as her sons from different mothers. She was an employee of ShopRite in Rochelle Park, NJ for 22 years and a former Girl Scout leader of Troop 964 in Maywood for over 20 years. She was an avid reader, a camper, had a wicked sense of humor, loved to play cards with her "girls," and always had the teapot ready for family and friends. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at the Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood, NJ 07607 (201-487-3050) on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 4 PM. Cremation private. Memorial visiting will be Saturday from 1-5 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Maywood Public Library in her name would be greatly appreciated. DiGREGORIO Giovanni, 77, of Marlboro, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold. He was born in Cervinara Avellino Italy, and had lived in Paramus before moving to Marlboro 3 years ago. He was a retired Mason from local 79 Laborers International Union of North America. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved planting and gardening. His daughters describe him as a hard working man who adored family and was very proud of his heritage. He loved cooking and making homemade wine. They will cherish the memories of watching Wheel of Fortune and picking up his favorite blueberry muffin and French Vanilla coffee from Dunkin' Donuts. Giovanni was humble in nature and a wonderful Papa, Nono and Friend. He was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Filomena DiGregorio, and a son-in-law Kenneth Adrovett. He leaves behind two daughters and sons-in-law Filomena Androvett and Joseph Hernandez, and Mary Grace and John Krupp, a brother and sister-in-law Pasquale and Giovanna DiGregorio, sister and brother-in-law Madelina and Pasquale Esca, four grandchildren, Sabrina, Mikayla, Nickolas and Jacob, his longtime companion Concetta Covino, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 5-9 PM at Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, New Jersey. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 10 AM in St. Clement Church, Matawan followed by entombment in St. Gabriel Cemetery, Marlboro.
