FEDELE Maria F. (nee Parisi), on May 25, 2016 of Cliffside Park, NJ, age 80. Maria was born on September 22, 1935 in Bagnara, Calabria, Italy and came to the United States in 1958. She was a loving homemaker and had worked for a knitting mill company in Fairview, NJ. Beloved wife to the late Giovanni (2010). Devoted mother to Domenica "Mickie" DeFilippis and her husband Angelo and John Fedele and his wife Cathy. Adored grandmother to Angelo, John Paul, Emily and John. Dear sister to Concetta Scarfone and the late Vincenzo Parisi (2014). Maria is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews in the United States and Western Australia. Funeral from the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Avenue Cliffside Park, NJ on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 9 AM, thence to Epiphany R.C. Forrest, Carol* - Dumont  
FORREST Carol A. (nee Goebel), of Dumont, NJ died peacefully surrounded by her family at 81 years of age on May 19, 2016. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Anne and Bill; her sister, Joan and loving husband, Tom. A devoted mother, she will be sorely missed by her children and their spouses; John & Kim, Tom & Mary Ann, Meg & Mike, and Liz & Craig. She loved the time she spent with family and was especially proud of her grandchildren; Matthew, Brittney, Kaleigh, Sean, Daniel and Lita. She cherished her relationships with her sister Anne and her husband Fred, and their sons Bill and Fred, as well as the rest of her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Carol was a lifelong volunteer serving as PTA board member at Honiss School, Dumont HS and Bergen County, as well as president at Grant School, honored PTA lifetime member, Girl Scout leader, trainer and sat on their Bergen County board, Cub Scout leader and president of the Dumont HS Band Boosters. She was a veracious reader and thoroughly enjoyed her knitting, crosswords, needlework and Jeopardy up to her last day. Dancing in heaven now with her husband Tom, Carol's life will be celebrated by everyone she has touched along her path. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, Monday, 2-4 & 7-9pm. All will meet at the funeral home Tuesday morning at 9, prior to the funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, Haworth at 10. BUTLER — Services were held for Eileen Gaiser, 63, of this borough, who died on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Mrs. Gaiser was born in Kearny. She was a phlebotomist for Saint Clare's Hospital, Denville. Services were Saturday at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. Arrangements were by the Morrison Funeral Home, Butler. Mrs. Gaiser is survived by her husband, Kurt; and her siblings, Patricia Haipt of Piscataway, Eugene Mendes of Franklin, Nancy Kent of Sparta, and Richard Mendes of Pompton Lakes. She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Geraldine Mendes; and her brother, Edward Mendes.

Galese, Angelina* - Woodland Park  
GALESE Angelina Rose "Tiny" (nee Travia), 92, of Woodland Park, passed away on May 21, 2016. Angelina was born in Paterson on December 3, 1923 to the late Vincent and Josephine (Barone) Travia. She proudly worked as an Aide in the Woodland Park School System for over 25 years. She was also a member of the West Paterson Seniors and she enjoyed spending time playing Bingo, poker and taking trips to Atlantic City. She was the beloved wife of Carmen Galese for 66 years before his passing in 2013. She was the adored mother of Gale Galese and his wife Patricia, Joan Reid and her husband John, and the late Carmen Galese and his wife Michelle. She was the treasured grandmother of Dawn D'Alessandro and her husband Eugene, Tori Freiday and her husband Brandon, Alexandra and her fiancé Ryan Trapp, Loren A., Jillian and Nicholas Galese, Chad Reid and his wife Ashley, and Jonryan and Christian Reid and great grandmother to Angelina and Sydney D'Alessandro, Julianna, Mckenzie, and Cayden Reid and Deklan Freiday. She was the dear sister of Virgina Travia, Joseph Travia and his wife Dolores and Marge McGrogan and was predeceased by many more siblings. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be offered on Thursday at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home. GAMBINO Anna V. (nee Villaraut), age 83, of Woodland Park, passed away on May 20, 2016. She was born in Sicily, Italy on September 27, 1932 to the late Paul and Laura (Governale) Villaraut. Anna was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. She was the beloved wife of the late Calogero "Charlie" Gambino (2008); the cherished mother of Anna Maria Cusumano and her husband Leonardo, Sr. and Paula Gambino; the loving grandmother to Leonardo, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Steven Cusumano, and Michael Cusumano and the great grandmother of Rocco Cusumano. She was the dear sister to Rose Battaglia and her husband Peter, Maria Sabatino and her husband Salvatore, and the late Pina Cutrone and her husband Pino and the late Dominic Villaraut and his wife Benuccia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, 3-7 PM at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, West Paterson, NJ 07424. A funeral service will be held Monday, 10 AM at Our Lady of Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9 AM. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. GANZENMULLER Dorothy M. Vandervelde, 90, cherished wife of the late, George Ganzenmuller, died Friday May 19, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA surrounded by her family. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sylvia (Boyle) Vandervelde. Dorothy most enjoyed being with her family, the beach in the summer, gardening and playing a competitive game of cards. She attended Douglas College in NJ and graduated from Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in NY. Dorothy worked at the Barnard Preparatory School and Fairleigh Dickinson University. She was a long time member of the Church of Annunciation in Oradell, NJ and All Saints Church in Glen Rock, NJ. She is survived by four children and their spouses; Suzanne J. Hook and her husband Clifford of Mahwah, NJ, George A. Ganzenmuller and his wife Marianne of Mashpee, MA, Diane La Pierre and her husband Gary of Beverly, MA and William Ganzenmuller and his wife Anne of Rowley, MA. Dorothy is also survived by her grandchildren; Alison, Brian, Julie, Margot, George, Eric, Danielle, Greg, Darin, Sarah, May and Colin and her great-grandchildren; Mabel, Wiley and Alison Rose. She was pre-deceased by her brother Albert Vandervelde. Her funeral service willl be held at the All Saints Episcopal Church, Glen Rock, NJ on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery, Englewood, NJ. Garcia, John (Editorial) - Pompton Lakes  
POMPTON LAKES — Services were held for John Garcia Sr., 79, of this community, who died on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Born in Palaces, Spain, Mr. Garcia came to the United States in 1949 and lived in Paterson before moving to Pompton Lakes in 1968. He was a custodian for the Pompton Lakes Board of Education for 25 years. Services were Tuesday at the Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family. Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, the former Joan Hance; his sons, Anthony, Walter, and David, all of Pompton Lakes; his sisters, Josephine Salerno of Brick, and Dolores Bernal of Wayne; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his sons, John, Joseph, and Michael.
