A. Ralph Blois

LINCOLN PARK — Services were held for A. Ralph Blois, 93, of this community, who died on Sunday, March 9, 2014.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Blois lived in Lincoln Park for most of his life. He was a longtime sales associate at Sears in Wayne before retiring 27 years ago. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 279, Lincoln Park. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Lincoln Park, where he served as an usher. He was a member of the Clifton Elks Lodge and a founding member of the Knights of Columbus. And, he served on the First Crew of the Lincoln Park Fire Department many years ago.

Services were Friday at St. Joseph's Church, followed by interment at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Arrangements were by the Keri Memorial Home, Lincoln Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Mr. Blois is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Lombardi; his sons, Bill and Ralph; his brothers, Larry and Vincent; his sister, Ann Sarao; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; and his sisters, Jean Commarato, Connie Bruno, Mary Pisarcik, and Dolores McNulty.
