David "Farmer," "Bobby" was born April 9, 1935 in Swainsboro, GA to the late David Johnson and Catherine Canady, and resided in Paterson, NJ for over 70 years. He was a Delivery Man and Truck Driver for The United Coal and Kirsch Oil Companies in Paterson, NJ for many years. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Ethel (Satchell) Canady, sons: Mark and Allen Canady, parents: David Johnson and Catherine Canady, Ola Mae and Robert Daniels, brothers: Tyrone, Michael and Samuel Richardson, sister: Claudina Richardson. He leaves to cherish fond memories: daughters Kelly Canady (Kevin), Karen Canady, Joan Prince, Cassandra Canty-Lyles and Easter Smith, sons: Tony, Darren and Gregory Canady, brother: Clarence Richardson, sister: Juanita Johnson, eighteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, godchildren: Jeffrey Harvey, Ahnjionea Chapman and Kahsim Mack, son-in-law: Timothy Lyles, daughters-in-law: Arlene and Jamie Canady, brothers-in-law: James and Joseph Satchell, sisters-in-law: Emily Glover, Peggy Nuttroy, Mabel, Rosa and Georgia Richardson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, neighbors and friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Monday, February 4, 2013 12:00 noon at The Seminary Baptist Church 193 Haledon Ave., Paterson, NJ.
