Donald Hall

Donald E. age 92, formerly of Wyckoff, NJ passed away Monday evening at the Holland Christian Home, North Haledon, NJ where he has been a resident for the last two years. Born in Shenandoah, PA on October 16, 1921 he was the son of the late Tom and Emma (Morgan) Hall. After serving time in the United Stated Army Signal Corps, during WWII, he returned to Penn State University and completed his education graduating in 1947. He immediately began working with A.T.&T. and after 37 years retired in 1984. Last week he and his wife, Geraldine M. Hall celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on March 5, 2014. Donald was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Wyckoff, NJ and a lifelong Free Mason, Melita Lodge #295 F& AM, Ft. Washington, PA. He is survived by his wife Geri, a resident of the Holland Christian Home, his two sons, Dr. Robert E. Hall of Del Mar, California and Dr. Richard E. Hall of Wyckoff and two grandchildren, Jaclyn Hall of Brooklyn, N Y and Tyler Hall of Bagdad, Arizona. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 2 PM at the Holland Christian Home, 151 Graham Ave., North Haledon, NJ 07508. In lieu of flowers contributions in Donald's memory may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, C/O the Education Fund, 555 Russell Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
