James Henry Sr.

PEQUANNOCK — Services were held for James Thomas Henry Sr., 81, of the Pompton Plains section of this community, who died on Monday, May 6, 2013.

Mr. Henry was born and raised in Philadelphia. He worked at M&M Mars for more than 35 years. Also, he was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus as well.

Services were Saturday at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, Pompton Plains, followed by interment at Our Lady of the Magnificat Church Cemetery, Kinnelon. Arrangements were by the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the .

Mr. Henry is survived by his children, James Henry, Colleen Kindlon, and Michael Henry; his brother, Robert; his sisters, Judy and Kathy; and seven grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Madeline Barth; his daughter, Denise; his parents, Philip and Margaret; his brothers, Thomas and Philip and his sisters, Eileen and Peggy.
