John A. "Clark," 75, of Ramsey, NJ, formerly of Woodcliff Lake, NJ passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013.
John was the only child of Arthur and Mary Bamrick of Teaneck, NJ. He was a graduate of All Hallows high school Bronx, NY and the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio. He worked in the garment industry, culminating in his position as Director of Merchandising and President of NY offices of Kellwood Company, before retiring in 1994. During retirement, John kept busy driving a limo for Airbrook Limo Co. He was also an avid gardener and longtime fan of St. Joseph Regional high school football.
John was married to Maureen (nee Murphy), his college sweetheart and the love of his life, who predeceased him in 1995. He was a devoted father to their three children and is survived by Eileen Bamrick and her partner Paul DeStefano of Westwood, NJ, Michael Bamrick and his partner Valerie of Ramsey, NJ and Murph Bamrick and his wife Deirdre Woodbyrne of Ramsey, NJ. John was a devoted grandfather of Shane McDonough and Ruari and Ronan Bamrick. He was also brother-in-law of the late Oliver and Mary Jane Murphy, the late Joan and James Cavanaugh and Sheila and Robert Crawford, as well as Uncle of Jim Murphy, Maureen Cavanaugh and Jim and Kelly Cavanaugh, all of Ohio.
