John J., 90, of Wall, NJ died on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA and New York University where he received an MBA Degree. As a member of the United States Armed Forces in World War II, he served in the European Theater. He entered the FBI in 1946 and served in Seattle, WA, Washington D.C., New York and Newark retiring in 1977 while assigned to the Hackensack R.A. He was predeceased by his brother Edward C. Kennelly. He is survived by his wife Grace, two daughters Grace K. Ward of Winston Salem, NC, Virginia E. Klodowski of Manasquan, NJ and three sons, John F. Kennelly and Stephen J. Kennelly of Bay Head, NJ and Christopher G. Kennelly of Savannah, GA. He is also survived by six beautiful grandchildren.
Visiting will be Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 1-4 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, 9 AM at St. Catharine's Church, Spring Lake. Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
