Joseph Zisa

Joseph A., 91, of Franklin Lakes, passed away on January 11, 2014. Born and raised in Paterson he has lived in Franklin Lakes for the past 40 years. He served his country in the United States Marines during World War II and prior to his retirement he was a machinist with the Curtiss Wright Corporation for 37 years. A parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes, Joseph was a member of the Elks Club of Wayne.
Beloved husband of Josephine Zisa (nee Miseo) of Franklin Lakes. Devoted father of Rosemarie Martie and her husband Robert of Kinnelon, Phyllis Kelly and her husband James of Nutley, Jane Presto and her husband Mark of Belmar, Anthony Zisa of New York City and the late Salvatore Zisa and his surviving wife Roseann of North Haledon.
Loving grandfather of Dana Presto, Christina Zisa, Matthew Presto and Joseph Zisa. Dear brother of Maria Loffreno of Ft. Meyers, FL, the late Paul Zisa and the late Carmela Dinice. Joseph is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday from 4-8 PM, at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral Services Thursday, 9:30 AM, at the funeral home followed by a 10 AM Mass at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church. Interment Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
